Project Description
AccessibilityTripPlanner is an AI-powered travel planning system that puts accessibility first, combining natural language processing with real-time Google Maps data and a curated Toronto accessibility database. When users request trips in natural language (e.g., “Union Station → Casa Loma + coffee (wheelchair)”), the system intelligently parses accessibility needs, discovers venue candidates, enriches results with verified accessibility attributes, and uses AI to rank options by accessibility scores. The platform features interactive maps for visual route planning and incorporates a Human-in-the-Loop component where accessibility experts continuously validate and improve venue data, creating a self-improving ecosystem that delivers personalized, reliable accessibility recommendations users can trust.
