How to Power Civic Engagement in an Hour: A live demo in turning frustration into a civic pressure machine

I built an AI-assisted civic campaign around a real Toronto street-safety issue: the push for a protected pedestrian crossing at Dundas Street East and Dagmar Avenue.

Neighbours had already tried the normal path: signatures, councillor outreach, and polite advocacy. It went nowhere. So I used AI to compress the early campaign-building process into roughly an hour: strategy, messaging, website structure, logo direction, visual identity, evidence framing, flyer copy, social media ads, 311 scripts, petition calls-to-action, and a public-facing narrative.

The demo will show the actual workflow from raw frustration to working campaign assets: how I used AI to identify the pressure points, frame the issue, generate visuals, create ad-ready creative, structure the website, and turn a single ignored crosswalk request into something neighbours can share, act on, and organize around.

The project is not a theoretical civic-tech app. It is a live neighbourhood campaign designed to make inaction harder than action.
