Hey! I'm Aayush Grover, a 2nd year Computer Science student at the University of Waterloo. I've worked on a wide range of projects & hackathons in the past, ranging from CNN pneumonia classifiers, GAN synthetic data projects, reinforcement learning meta prompting for GoogleADK agents, etc. I love going to hackathons, with some highlights being Hack the North (both as an attendee, and as an organizer), Berkeley AI Hackathon, and Hack the 6ix. Professionally, I've worked on AI evals for embedding models and agent frameworks at Nokia, and I'm currently working on building LLM eval infrastructure on Shopify's Sidekick team.

I'm super interested in LLM research, whether in the world of evals, optimization, and generally improving frontier foundational models. I also love to work on scrappy projects that leverage existing work in AI to create tangible impacts.

Recently, I've been tinkering on Shopify Sidekick, as well as messing around with optimizing prompt generation for AI agent frameworks through meta prompting pipelines.
